Retail Staff Pharmacist
Must be a registered pharmacist and licensed/willing to acquire license in South Dakota. Retail store experience a plus. Responsible for the efficient, ethical and lawful compounding and dispensing of prescription pharmaceuticals. Advises customers on the use and storage of prescription and nonprescription drugs. Orders and maintains supply of drugs, chemicals and other pharmaceutical stock. The Pharmacist helps support the Pharmacy Manager with all aspects of the functions in the pharmacy. Implements G.R.E.A.T. Service program to the fullest extent. Participates fully in the REWARDS and Shrink Awareness programs. Assists in maintaining efficient, profitable, and safe operations of the store Pharmacy Department within limits of, and in accordance with, the Corporate Store Manual and the overall store programs directed by Regional management. Maintains product quality and cost control in line with department sales and profit objectives. Assists in creating desired store image and customer relations. Assists Pharmacy Manager in maintaining accurate records required by management initiatives and prepares forms required. Handles all other projects and duties as assigned.
